Mr. Jacques Totowa

Jacques Totowa boast of extensive experience in the mining industry. He has worked as finance coordinator with a multinational Gold mining corporation with responsibility for China, Colombia, the DRC and the Solomon Island. This has exposed Mr. Totowa to the structuring of multibillion dollars Gold mine projects. Jacques has an in depth practical knowledge in structuring big project as proven by his involvement in the structuring of the multibillion AngloGoLd Ashanti La Colosa project in Colombia or the Anglo Gold/ RandGold Kibali joint venture in the DRC.

Mr. Totowa research interests is in financial reporting impression management, corporate finance, Management accounting, corporate performance measurements and corporate governance among others. Mr. Totowa holds an Mphil (Cum laude) in accounting science from the University of South Africa. He is currently a Ph.D candidate at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa.
